Sternberg Reed continues to act for children and adults who have acquired brain injuries as a result of clinical negligence.<br /><br /></span></span><span style="font-family:arial;"><span style="font-size:78%;"><strong><u>Mental Capacity Act 2005 and changes to the Court of Protection<br /></u></strong><br />When the Mental Capacity Act 2005 came into force in 2007 many changes came about specifically the change in structure to the Court of Protection and the creation of the Office of the Public Guardian.
